Taking my son to the the monster truck show tomorrow. Been 20 years since I've seen them in person so kind of stoked. Debating the "pit" passes that allow you some access to the trucks before the show.. Anyone have any experience with that at this kind of event? Or any other tips for these types of exhibitions? (Ear protection already handled)

I love these things. The noises the engines make are so sweet.

ALWAYS WORTH IT to spend a few dollars more. the investment pays off in spades x years down the road when the now grown child freaks out that he got to ride in Digger with Dennis when he was 5 and forgot all about it.the proof is in the pictures from the 2 disposable camera's worth of pictures that the mom took cause you and the boy were in your own little world for that short time. at least that's what my own experience taught me. but what do I know? im just a guy who does the thing..... oh and as for tips, a good set of noise cancelling earphones for the child is sound advice.

Take some ear plugs for your kid. I went with my cousin and his 10 year old. Show was in a dome, and the kid did not have a good time.
